Mini-Session

Sometimes new clients like to get to know us with a smaller research session before digging into a larger-sized ancestry research session. Often, we can get more accomplished than you might expect in just 4 hours! If you have an ancestry research problem that needs solved in records after 1840, and you'd like to learn more about working with us, first, then investigate this option.

What to Expect

We offer both United States and International Mini-Sessions. If you have a research problem concerning an ancestor who was born after 1840, and you'd like to try out our research services, then this might be a great choice for you! This service is also a good choice if you have a town in Europe, for your ancestor's birth, but you don't really know exactly where that town is, or if there are records available. Generally 4 hours of work will give us time to identify the town and tell you what types of records are available.

With this option, our experts will spend 4 hours: 

• reviewing your previous work
• researching records sources that pertain to the individual you submit to us
• summarizing the results in a letter, which will be mailed to you with copies of original records (when found) via U.S. first class mail.

Mini- Session Prices

• United States Mini-Sessions are priced at $315.00 (all expenses paid).
  Ancestor must be born between 1840 and 1925.
   
• International Mini-Sessions are priced at $355.00 (all expenses paid).
  Ancestor must be born between 1840 and 1900.

Some Things to Keep in Mind

Mini-Sessions are not recommended for a) problem research that you've worked on for many years or b) common surname research.
